For certain types of products photos are the best way to convey the important details to the customers. I posted a series of photos showing a camping trailer inside and out. (See that post here). Without any words at all, the potential customer can easily detrermine if the trailer is what they are looking for. Another really good way to show this same trailer for sale would be using a short video.
These let the customer see and imagine the item in their own lives. They can see qualities like cleanliness and condition that can’t adequately be expressed using words alone.
I am looking for small business customers near to me. We’re on the Florida Panhandle between Tallahassee and Panama City. I plan on making many cold calls to places that I find interesting.
The website (here) is intended as a touchstone. A place to get to know me and to get a sense for the sort of writing that I do. I like to write in a warm and familiar style. I want to feel at home with the reader. To invoke a sense of wellbeing and to draw the reader into the introduction or the story of the business. At the same time, it’s important to present a product or service with each exposure to the customers.
As long as it is a positive contribution to the customer’s life experience there is something to be said in the narrative.
The customers should feel the sensation of a business with something to add to their lives. Something that will matter to them. Each business is so different; that addition can be anything. A feeling, a practical tool, an experience; as long as it is a positive contribution to the customer’s life experience there is something to be said in the narrative.
I hope to have fun meeting people as I embark on this new adventure.
