I am posting this video because I thought that they did a good job showing the unit. While we aren’t agile enough to use a truck camper like this, the layout seems very good, and the bathroom accommodations seem particularly well thought out.
New Theatre Seating for Our Camper
We finally received the last box from Fed Ex yesterday. There were three boxes in total and for some reason Fed Ex separated them and delivered one each day for three days. Crazy?
I’ve mentioned before that I have previously removed the dinette seating and table from our camper. So installing this seating took very little time.
Everything came well packaged. The seat backs come detached and only need to be placed over a slide on bayonet attachment where it snaps in place. The three main pieces work similarly. They are heavy though. So two people should handle them.
We are happy with the quality and look forward to our next camping trip.
Here are a some photos.
Today we are going to install our new Theatre Seating inside our Camping Trailer. I will take some photos of the process although I am not anticipating that there will be much to it. I took out our dinette setup about a year ago. So disassemble is already done. We’ve been using reclining lawn chairs for the last several trips we’ve taken. Frankly, they’ve been a little too uncomfortable after sitting a while. It’s been much better than trying to use the dinette to sit at night and watch TV or to talk. So photos to follow…
Here is a good preview of the tire lineup for Cooper Off-Road or at least All-Season Tires. I recently put a set of the ATP version on my truck and like them a lot. The ATP version is like the first one shown in the video, but it appears to be an exclusive for Discount Tire Stores. By the way, Discount Tire in Tallahassee did a great job on my installation and I recommend them as well.
It isn’t my intent to publish items that are just promotional in nature. But I did want to share this particular trailer with you because we just thought that it was perfect – at least for us. We are making refinements to our existing trailer that you’ll see elsewhere on the site as we install theatre seating into our 2016 Bullet Premier. So we’re probably not in the market for this trailer, at this time. We can dream though…
I am unlikely personally to go for one of these. We are happy with our current unit and frankly we need the space and amenities of our more mainstream trailer. I do confess to being intrigued by the innovation shown and the woodwork on these units. I think that this interest on my part is a throwback to our tent camping days, and the luxury these campers offer in contrast to those far more rustic days.
Take a look at the details. Notice the plastic springs under the mattress. That looks like a great idea.
