Curating Stories and Posts About Trucks, Trailers and Accessories for Both

It is my intention to offer a variety of topics that relate to the truck owner and their towed accessories, including what they have in or on those trailers. I also want to include equipment both for towing, but also equipment that makes the truck more useful for work and play.

My own personal experiences and current truck and equipment are something to mention from time-to-time, but what I am doing isn’t remotely as inclusive of the possibilities available.

For that reason more needs to be added. Hopefully we will find a few writers out there who want to share their slant on the subjects we cover. It’s also my intention to add more content that hits the mark as research is done with the manufacturers, and where we can find articles and videos that match the subject of trucks and trailers.

Hopefully this will continue to be fun for me. I am looking for these topics anyway. It makes sense to share them here too.

Just like my recent infatuation with our new trailer furniture, it may seem like too much of a single subject as I explore. I will try to get a balance and if we can add another writer’s voice, that will really make a difference. Writers, are you out there?

So let’s have fun together. Please add comments. Thanks for being here with us.

Watch “Cirrus 670 Tour! The new half-ton short bed truck camper!” on YouTube

I am posting this video because I thought that they did a good job showing the unit. While we aren’t agile enough to use a truck camper like this, the layout seems very good, and the bathroom accommodations seem particularly well thought out.

Cooper Tires for Your Truck

Here is a good preview of the tire lineup for Cooper Off-Road or at least All-Season Tires. I recently put a set of the ATP version on my truck and like them a lot. The ATP version is like the first one shown in the video, but it appears to be an exclusive for Discount Tire Stores. By the way, Discount Tire in Tallahassee did a great job on my installation and I recommend them as well.

Small Campers

I am unlikely personally to go for one of these. We are happy with our current unit and frankly we need the space and amenities of our more mainstream trailer. I do confess to being intrigued by the innovation shown and the woodwork on these units. I think that this interest on my part is a throwback to our tent camping days, and the luxury these campers offer in contrast to those far more rustic days.

Take a look at the details. Notice the plastic springs under the mattress. That looks like a great idea.

2019 Florida RV Super Show – Tampa, Florida

Here are a few pictures from the show. I will post more a little later. The show was huge. We were there for two days and probably visited a quarter of the exhibits. Much of the show is about Class Ones. We’re not interested in those. Too much to afford. We’re campers, not full timers. We are also a couple and don’t need a bunkhouse arrangement.
